Moira Lenore Dynon (4 September 1920 – 23 October 1976)

‘Moira seemed to have been interested in the whole human race, with a deep understanding of the concept of ‘neighbour’. She was a tender and loving person; loyal, courageous and compassionate, and had tremendous powers of memory, persuasion, perseverance and organisation. She did not sit down and pontificate. She tended to her family, and went out and forward into the stream of life, to help foster a spirit to serve the people of God and to care for the needy.
May those who glance through these pages recognise the girl they knew, the sister, the wife, the mother, the courageous loving and compassionate woman and citizen of ‘the world’ as she understood it.’

(John F. Dynon)
